“The moon is a loyal companion.
It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human.
Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.”

Autumn Equinox Harvest Festival
Free Event - Saturday, September 23
Potluck 1 - 2 pm
Drum Circle led by Anitra Brooks 2 - 3 pm
The first day of each season, as marked by the equinoxes and solstices, provide an excellent opportunity to more deeply connect with the energies of each season.
Matching your personal rhythms to the rhythms of the changing seasons is a form of harmonizing yourself with nature.
We invite you to join us in honoring and welcoming the season of Autumn with a Harvest Festival Potluck and a Community Drum Circle to help us focus on learning new rhythms and connection with nature and other people in our community.
We are delighted to welcome the talented Anitra Brooks to our school's first Autumn Equinox Celebration. Anitra Brooks is a leader in the areas of experiential education, leadership development, and the performing and healing arts. She is a musician, singer-songwriter, actor, educator, and an eclectic facilitator of healing.
Potluck at 1-2 pm. Please label your dish with your name and ingredients.
Drum Circle 2-3. Please bring your own drum and any extra drums that you may have to share. If you do not own a drum, others will share with you.
